A pharmacist should have strong knowledge about the composition of the drugs (chemical, biological, and physical properties of the medicine). They should also be aware of the use, expiration dates, manufacturing company for the particular medication. They can work in hospital pharmacies, industrial R and D units, or own their drug store.

2. Roles and Responsibilities of a Pharmacists

  • Provide information to patients about medications and their use.

  • Plan, monitor, and evaluate drug programs.

  • Maintain records, such as pharmacy files, patient profiles, inventories etc.

  • Order and purchase pharmaceutical supplies, medical supplies, or drugs.

• • A medical representative's job is to promote and sell pharmaceutical drugs or medical equipment.
  • Arrange appointments with doctors, pharmacists and hospital medical teams, which may include pre-arranged appointments or regular 'cold' calling.
